Greetings from central Missouri! I'm actually sitting in a coffee shop in Kansas City as I'm writing this, but these photos were taken in the small town of Carrollton, Missouri a couple days ago. My cousin, Alex, recently got engaged to her lifelong best friend and I had the honor of documenting it! We started out in a historic building on the square, and then moved to Alex's grandma's (my great aunt but I call her grandma because she's like a grandma to me). She has TONS of beautiful land. I spent my youth coming out here to hunt with my dad and haven't been back since... not until now. Alex gave me a good reason to come to the middle of nowhere and slow down from city life. Her and Rob are the most adorable couple! They've been best friends all their lives, and now they get to spend the rest of their lives on a journey together. I'm convinced that this is one of the best bonds - a lifelong bond. What they have is a treasure few get to experience and I'm so happy for them. Thank you so much and congrats to the future Locks!
